2021 SCRIPT CONTEST

our deadline of our 2nd Screenplay Competition to 10/1/2021.

For our 2021 Script Contest, we are looking for some great short scripts to add to our CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE SERIES, so if you have a script that revolves around a social bias incident (racism, LQBTQ, classism, gender, religion, bullying, immigration, homelessness, etc), and focuses on the humanity of the people being victimized, we would love to see it! The main themes of the series deal with racism, discrimination and xenophobia, so the story should involve one or more of those.
We are not looking for epic or historically challenging pieces. Our resources are minimal, so the writer should keep that in mind when crafting a story to submit.
Screenplays can be up to 10 pages. If you can tell a powerful story in less, we encourage you to write it.
We will announce the Top 10 on November 25, 2021, the Top 5 on December 15, 2021 and the Winner on December 31, 2021. Each of the Top 5 will be optioned, and possibly added to the second season of the series. The winning script will be purchased, produced and debut in the second season of the show.
